Each of our departments is fully staffed with full-time Trainers and Lecturers. All of our Asessors and Trainer have been registered with NAMB.

Infrastructure
Umbilo Skills Centre is a full-fledged acreditered college and training centre offering all the amenities typically expected of a world-class educational institution. From state-of-the-art Lecture rooms and workshops for our student we are confident that our infrastructure competes with some of the best that KZN educational institutions can offer.

Workshops
Umbilo Skills Centre maintains well-equipped workshops  for its students, and encourages their use as part of the course, for research, and for exploratory study. These workshops serve a range of purposes, including facilitation of practical demonstrations and experimentations on the theory taught in classes, within the college, and for training and practice as and when required.

Canteen
The canteen offers meals, snacks and refresments every day. We realize that students need to be provided with nourishing and delicious food if they are to grow as well as they can, and ensure that regular quality checks are conducted on the food to guarantee the high quality of its fare.
